Lavender is the “Swiss army knife” of essential oils great for sleep, skin and stress. It is a very calming oil to use on a regular basis.
- Struggling to catch some zzz’s? Simply apply some lavender to the bottoms of your feet for a restful night’s sleep. A few drops of lavender on your pillow will promise a restful night’s sleep.
- Have an itch that you can’t scratch? Add a drop of lavender to calm the itch and reduce swelling.
- Battling an itchy scalp and a hint of dandruff? Add a drop of lavender in your shampoo and ease the burn.
- Ouch that hurt! If you burn yourself make sure to add a drop of lavender to take out the burn and prevent blisters.
- Need a little calm in your life? Diffuse or inhale lavender to relax you and ease your emotions.
- Is that a rash I see? Add some lavender to coconut oil and apply to irritated skin to combat whatever is causing the skin issue.
- After a hard workout apply lavender and lemongrass down your legs to invigorate and soothe sore muscles.
- Add a drop or two of lavender to your bath to let all your cares and worries melt away
- If you spend too much time in the sun applying lavender, peppermint and coconut oil will calm the sunburn and reduce blistering.
- Rub lavender on an itchy belly while pregnant to calm the itch and relax the nerves.
- Applying lavender to the back of the beck, behind the ears and on your wrists will ease anxious feelings and calm the nerves.
- Applying lavender and coconut oil over freshly shaved skin will reduce irritation and prevent razor bumps.
- Take 1 cup of epsom salt and 3 drops lavender oil to the bathtub to create a spa like experience
- Add 4-5 drops of lavender oil to vinegar cleaning solution to cut the harsh smell.
