How do you manage your stress?

Stress is the number one killer of humans.  It is something that needs to be taken seriously.  Thankfully for me, I had learned how to handle my stress through different techniques such as Reiki, meditation, essential oils, exercise, EFT Tapping and cocktail nights with my best friend.  Most of those were healthy, right?  Do your best to manage your life and ask for help when you need it.  You don’t have to make yourself go crazy like I did, it was not healthy.  Being able to find an outlet and focusing on staying as organized as possible will be your lifeline.

“Thankfully for me, I had learned how to handle my stress through different techniques such as Reiki, meditation, essential oils, exercise.”

Sit for a bit if you can’t figure out how to reduce your stress, take a few deep breaths and think about what makes you happy. Bring up a memory of when you were your happiest. What were you doing? Can you do that still? Maybe consider setting time aside each week to do different activities that bring you joy.

Have you ever felt like the storm has finally ended and you survived?

Surviving through a trial is one of the hardest things you will ever have to endure.  Focusing on the present moment and not stressing about the future was the only way I made it through most days.  Having to take deep breaths and trust that everything would turn out the way it was meant to.  When you are in the middle of the storm it feels like there is no light in sight but if you stand strong the sun will peak through.  You can’t control anything, you can only trust that everything will work out to the higher good.  You can choose to take these lessons as they come at you and learn from them or allow the stress to eat you alive and become bitter.  The choice is yours, but either way you will have to choose.

“The choice is yours, but either way you will have to choose.”

Once the sun shines through and you start to let down your guard and lean into the aftermath there is so much beauty to find. Every day waking up on this earth having one more day to breath in the love that surrounds you is such a blessing. Being able to have the strength to withstand what life throws at you is so empowering once the turmoil has settled. Don’t give up, don’t give in, just live for today. Allow the worry, anger and disappointment to fade and be grateful for your many blessings.
